The Structures department works on a variety of architectural and structural issues in multidisciplinary projects. Our clients are mainly major players in the fields of industry, timber construction and non-residential construction. The construction of industrial structures is an important core activity within our agency.
What will you do
As project leader/constructor, you are responsible for the independent design, calculation and specification of complicated steel, concrete and timber structures. You are responsible for project coordination, accurate control of your own work and the work of junior engineers and draftsmen. It goes without saying that you have contact with clients from day one and that you are fully aware of specific professional information such as legislation, standards and regulations. You also enjoy doing your own calculations. In this varied job, you regularly consult with regard to planning, cost control and progress.
What do you have to offer
You are customer-oriented and a multidisciplinary thinker. Able to communicate clearly and you have a proactive working attitude. Furthermore, you have:
- A completed degree in TU or HBO Architecture towards structures.
- A completed degree in HTI or HVA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Design and Coordinating Structural Engineer.
- Good interpersonal skills and a flexible attitude
- Able to transfer technical knowledge of the field to colleagues
- A project manager with a passion for the job.
